Due to on-going concerns around the spread of COVID-19, the University of Manitoba has suspended in-person classes for the remainder of the winter and summer terms and is taking a number of steps to be in accordance with the public health guidelines. This includes, until further notice, the closure of the university. For the most up-to-date announcements regarding Covid-19 as it relates to our campus, please visit umanitoba.ca/coronavirus.
Despite our closure, our team continues to work from home, and we are committed to supporting you. The student recruitment team is available to assist by phone, zoom, or email and can be reached here.
• For students born outside of Canada, please note the following:
- If they are permanent residents or Canadian citizens, please encourage your students to upload or email proof of their immigration status to email@example.com.
- In order to prove their English Language Proficiency (ELP), transcripts that include three years of study in Canada are needed to waive this requirement. On behalf of your student, please send these documents to firstname.lastname@example.org. Be sure to include your students' full name and student number. For more information and waiver options click here.
This is a unique and unprecedented situation, but we are committed to ensuring you and your students have continued access to the information and support required during the coming weeks. We will be in touch shortly with our plans to continue our spring “Next Steps" presentations electronically to your students. Stay tuned.
