Volunteer

​​​Students in Manitoba can earn school credit for volunteering within the community by earing a "community Service Credit" through partnership with Morden Collegiate, local organizations and the Province of Manitoba.

When scheduling an appointment with the school principal to speak about volunteering, please have the following documentation ready:

Students MUST speak to the school principal PRIOR to beginning any volunteer hours towards credit.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

 

  • Most volunteer locations require record checks (criminal record check, child abuse registry check, vulnerable sectors check, and PHIA (personal health information act pledge)
  • Some locations require a guardian awareness form to be completed before application if applicant is under a certain age (often 15-16 or less)
  • You may call the following places for more information about whether they are accepting volunteers, potential positions, requirements, and application forms.
