In social studies, the Grade 3's continue to spread acts of kindness and extend their learning through identifying how organizations support communities all around the world. Furthermore, students from 3ZA, 3DU & 3GA will be working on a project that will support local organizations such as the Katie Cares Foundation. Starting from February 4th - 20th, students will be doing a “supply drive." We are kindly asking for contributions of unopened packaged items that will be donated to the Katie Cares Foundation. Boxes will be provided at the entrance of the school for any items contributed such as:
- Granola Bars (nut free),
- Individually wrapped small chocolate bars (nut free),
- Individually wrapped crackers/cookies
- Baking supplies, such as: sugar, flour, chocolate chips etc.
- Box tissue or bathroom toilet paper
- Serviettes
- Cheez Whiz, assorted flavors of jam and honey
- Keurig coffee pods, regular coffee pods, teas-assorted
- NEW Teddy Bears or Beanie Babies
- Crossword puzzle/word search books
- Crayons/Markers
- Tea Towels
- Juice boxes/bottled water
