Medication at School


Please do not send any type of medication to school with your child in their lunch kit or backpack.

ALL medication needs to be brought to the office by the parent or guardian and have the appropriate paperwork filled out BEFORE we can administer any medication. This includes pain medication such as Tylenol or Advil, stomach medication such as Tums or prescription medication. We also require the original medication bottle, whether it is prescription or Tylenol.

We also cannot provide a first dose of a new medication at the school. If your child has started a new medication, they will need to have at least one dose at home before it is brought to school. If it is a liquid medication, we also require a measuring cup or spoon to administer medication.
