Welcome to Western School Division!

As we settle into a new school year, we are pleased to welcome students, families, staff, and community members to another year of learning, growth, and connection.
 
Our schools are vibrant places where every student is encouraged to discover their strengths, pursue their interests, and build the knowledge and skills they need for the future. We are proud of the caring and dedicated educators, staff, families, and community partners who work together to create supportive and inclusive learning environments.
 
While the first days of school may already be behind us, the year ahead holds countless opportunities. From the classroom to the playground, on the stage, on the field, and throughout our communities, we look forward to all that our students will learn, accomplish, and experience this year.

New Practice for Entry to Western School Division Schools During Classroom Times

Public Notice Regarding Rifle Range Testing at Morden Collegiate Institute (MCI)

Western School Division is committed to providing safe and healthy learning and
working environments for all students and staff.
As part of ongoing facility assessments at Morden Collegiate Institute (MCI), the
Division conducted environmental testing in the school's Rifle Range area. Testing results identified elevated levels of lead within the Rifle Range space. Upon receiving these results, the Division immediately restricted access to the area to all students, staff, and visitors.

The Western School Division Accessibility Survey aims to assess the accessibility of our facilities, programs, and resources to ensure any barriers are identified, communicated, accommodated and/or removed to maintain inclusivity for all students, staff, and visitors.
