❄️ A reminder that throwing ice or snow on the playground is not allowed for any reason at anytime. Unless you're building a snow fort, snow should stay on the ground. ❄️

Please avoid running and sliding on playground ice. The risk of injury to yourself and others is high. Sliding on ice often leads to broken bones and head injuries.

GRADE 7/8 STUDENTS

⚠️ The Access Event Centre is off limits during the lunch hour for all EMMS students (this is not a new rule). You should not enter the building for any reason from 12:00-1:00. This is a rule put in place by the Access Event Centre, and it will be enforced by the City of Morden Bylaw Officer. ⚠️

There will be Brawlhalla drop-ins after school this week and next week on Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00–5:00 PM for any Grade 8s interested in joining our E-Sports team. No sign-up is needed to attend the drop-ins.

Brawlhalla E-Sports Registration is posted outside the office. There are divisions for all skill levels, including a division for female and gender-diverse students. Teams of three are ideal, but teams can have up to five members.

The entry deadline for the Morden Festival of the Arts is January 23, 2026.  Entry forms, Speech Arts selections manuals, and all entry information, are available on the Festival website:  mordenfestivalofthearts.com

 It will focus on software development, cyber defense and graphic technologies.
