Scholarship Applications Open April 1st 2024 and Close on May 15 2024

As a locally owned organization, Access Credit Union cares deeply about giving back to the communities it serves. Our organization supports various community, youth and educational initiatives through donations, sponsorships and volunteering. Access recognizes the value of post-secondary education and what continued learning means for the progress and development of individuals and local communities.
Purpose: The 2024 Access Credit Union "Tell us Your Story" Scholarship Program is designed to reward students who align with our values of integrity, service, innovation, and opportunity. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of applicant character and values.
Support: Access Credit Union will award three $5,000 awards and four $2,500 awards for a total of $25,000 in 2024. Eligibility Criteria:
• Applicants must reside in Manitoba.
• Applicants must currently attend high school full-time (be it public school, private school, or home school) and be eligible to graduate in June of the current year.
• Applicants must plan to continue their education at a recognized post-secondary institution and provide proof of enrollment or confirmation of classes by December 1st, 2024.

High school and post-secondary educators: Jean Murray–Moray Sinclair Theatre Scholarships are for full-time students attending accredited theatre schools or university theatre programs who intend to pursue a career in theatre.

Students can be in a post-secondary program already, going into an upper year, or in currently in grade 12 - if they've been accepted to a school, or are currently auditioning/applying for a full-time program, they can apply! 

Scholarships are funded by donations, so the number we can allocate and funding amounts vary. Scholarships generally range from $400-1000. 

Applicants must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant, and a resident of Manitoba. Applications include the completed form, a resume or CV, a written statement, documentation of the school the student is attending/applying for, portfolio/supporting material for some disciplines, and letter of reference - maybe from you, teacher!

​Manitoba Beef Producers 24/25 Scholarship

Manitoba Beef Producers is pleased to make available six $1,000 scholarships annually for MBP members or their children attending a university, college, other post-secondary institution or pursuing trades training. Preference will be given to those students pursuing a field of study related to agriculture or to those acquiring a skilled trade or pursuing a career that would be beneficial to the rural economy.
This application intake process is for students who will be undertaking post-secondary studies or trades training in the 2024-25 academic year.
The scholarship criteria are as follows:
Eligibility:
Must be an active Manitoba beef producer or the child of an active Manitoba beef producer. Note: This can also include active beef producers returning to school after a period of time in the workforce.
•Must be pursuing post-secondary studies or trades training in the 2024-25 academic year.
•Post-secondary programs or trades training must be a minimum of one academic year in duration.
Items You Are Required to Submit:
•The completed application form;
• Either a typed 600-word (maximum) essay OR a 5-7 minute maximum video submission discussing the topic “What the beef industry means to my family, my community and Manitoba.” Also, you need to identify in the essay or video the reasons you enjoy being involved in agriculture*;
•A copy of your transcript (either high school, or a recognized college, university or trade school);
•Proof of enrolment in a recognized institution (current transcript, or your acceptance letter, or a letter of intent indicating your intended institution and field of study for 2023-24);
•A list of your community involvement (e.g. 4-H, community clubs, volunteer work, etc.); and,
•The names of two references, including their addresses and telephone numbers.
*Note: Scholarship winners’ essays or video submissions will be published in Manitoba Beef Producers’ newspaper Cattle Country in fall 2024 or posted to MBP’s social media channels and website.
The completed application, supporting documents, references, required essay or video, etc. must be submitted to MBP by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024 to the attention of:

The game of hockey provides many teachable moments and some equally valuable life lessons.  In addition to the on-ice experiences and enjoyment, Hockey Manitoba also recognizes the importance of a strong educational foundation, and each year awards twenty (20) post secondary scholarships to graduating student member athletes.​ For more information and to find the applications please follow the link below.
