          Course Description:

Adult Basic Education – Practical Math is a course designed to enable a person to handle most practical mathematical problems encountered in day-to-day living.  Whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and ratios are covered.  In addition the student will learn introductory algebra, which will help prepare them for subsequent math programs.

          Course Description:

This course is designed to allow students with weak literacy skills to improve their skills so they may enter the Mature Diploma Program at the Grade 10 level.  The course focuses on reading and writing basics at the Stage 2 and 3 levels.
